We believe you should know exactly how a website that recommends bookmakers pays its way. This page sets it out plainly. The short version: some of our links are commercial, they cost you nothing, and they never change our rankings.

How the Site is funded

Perry Barr Stadium is free to read. To cover the cost of producing and maintaining it, we use affiliate links. When you click through to a bookmaker from this Site and go on to open an account, the operator may pay us a commission. That commission is paid by the bookmaker out of its own marketing budget — it is never added to your costs, and you pay exactly the same as if you had visited the bookmaker directly.

What this does — and does not — affect

This is the part that matters most, so we want to be unambiguous about it.

It does not affect our rankings. We order the bookmakers on our betting sites page on their merits for greyhound punters: how completely they cover the UK and Irish cards, whether they stream the racing, whether they offer best odds guaranteed and fair each-way terms, and how usable their race card is. A bigger commission does not buy a better position, and we do not accept payment to publish a favourable write-up.

It does not affect our editorial. Our guides are written to be useful first. Where a product — a staking “system”, a piece of software, a novelty market — offers no real edge, we say so, regardless of any commercial relationship.

How to spot a commercial link

Commercial links are easy to identify. Any “Visit” button next to an operator, and outbound links to bookmaker websites, are commercial. Technically they carry a nofollow sponsored attribute and open the operator’s own site in a new tab. Links to information resources, regulators and support services (such as BeGambleAware and GamStop) are not commercial.

Our commitment

We only feature bookmakers that hold a UK Gambling Commission licence, we keep our reasoning visible, and we would rather lose a commission than recommend something we would not use ourselves. If you ever feel a recommendation does not stack up, tell us at [email protected] — we take that seriously.

Responsible gambling comes first

No commercial relationship changes our position on this: betting is entertainment, not income, and it should only ever be done within your means. Please read our responsible gambling page, and remember you must be 18 or over to bet.

Affiliate Disclosure — FAQ

Does Perry Barr Stadium take money from bookmakers?
We may earn a commission when a reader opens an account through one of our links. We are not paid to publish positive reviews, and a commission arrangement does not buy a higher position in our rankings.
Does a commission change your rankings or reviews?
No. We rank bookmakers on their greyhound coverage — market depth, streaming, best odds guaranteed and a usable race card. The commercial relationship has no bearing on the order operators appear or on what we say about them.
Does it cost me anything to use your links?
No. Following a commercial link costs you exactly the same as going to the bookmaker directly. The commission is paid by the operator, never added to you.
How do I know which links are commercial?
Commercial outbound links to bookmakers carry a nofollow sponsored attribute and open the operator’s own site. Assume any “Visit” button next to an operator is a commercial link.
Are the bookmakers you list licensed?
Yes. Every operator we feature holds a UK Gambling Commission licence, which is the legal requirement to offer betting to customers in Britain.
